Exercise-inks on Alan Davis

This is a cool inking exercise we did at school using an illustration done by Alan Davis. The character is Sgt. Rock, created in 1959 by Robert Kanigher and Joe Kubert and this should be some sort of tribute done by Davis to this DC Comics character, but don't ask me more about Sgt. Rock and this pic because i don't know much about actually.
For this exercise i only inked with brush and indian ink.
