2. What does your username mean? It was created by 2 friends of mine. It's a "weird" pronunciation of the first 3 letters of my last name (Zab)

12. How has a fellow deviant impacted your life? Various American pencilers, inkers and colorists have helped me a lot in developing my skills. True inspiration, I owe them and DA a lot!

13. What are your preferred tools to create art? Pencil, markers, brush+Indian ink and PS

14. What is the most inspirational place for you to create art? My room, where I have all my tools, but if I have my Moleskine with me it can be wherever.

15. What is your favourite DeviantArt memory? When my  landed on the official TR blog.

Hi Everybody! I want to take this opportunity to tell something about my journey on and I want to thank everybody of the DA crew for their work and for this wonderful idea on the 14th birthday of the site.

I joined in September 2006 after a year of lingering at the door, as a logged out guest, peeping through the amazing art displayed in the homepage. I was introduced to this site by a dear friend of mine, who sadly passed away in 2009 and for that reason, somehow, DA has now a bigger importance to me. However, away from the sad things, in 2005/06 I wasn't drawing anymore, I lost all the passion and confidence in myself and my dream to be able to draw comics was totally faded. Until I got in touch with DA and my artistic flame, after a spark, started to burn again with desire. When I joined the community
that's what I was--------->
A stupid doodle made during a boring lesson, a total letdown.
But here I discovered and got in touch with amazing comic books artists, I then discovered professional photographers (read:beautiful things and references ), and other kinds of artists who gave me the fuel to go on.
Life isn't always as you expect and I'm a little bit ashamed of myself to say that I'm still not a comics pro right now and I don't know if I'll ever be, anyway I can see my growth: from here   I started to train, I attended a comic books professional school, I helped organize the 24H Comics Day since 2009 in Rovigo(the only officially registered event for Italy these past years), 3 comic books fairs (or comicons if you like, even though they were quite small) and got involved, as a colorist, in the production of a special issue of DIABOLIK-a famous Italian comic book- related to one of the comicons I mentioned above.

Hi guys! I'm talking to international fellow deviants but in particular to people based in the UK! 2014 marks the 20th anniversary of "L'Insonne" (literally "Sleepless" or "Insomniac") an Italian comic book which is going to debut later this year in the British market as "Desdemona". Desdemona is indeed the name of the main character, a very beautiful DJ who hosts a night program for a small radio station in Florence. The plot of Desdemona mixes up detective stories, thriller, noir, politics, occultism, without neglecting intimate and poetic aspects of everyday life. Besides the arrival in the anglophone market there's a chance to bring Desdemona to life through an Indiegogo campaign!! The goal is to reach enough funds to develop and shoot a TV series!
